Phoenixville Area Time Bank

Annual Appeal 2019

Dear Fellow Time Bank Member,

Thank you for all that you’ve done for the Time  Bank and our greater community during this past year.

Whether you volunteered to help your neighbors in need or requested help around your home or shared a dish at one of our potluck dinners, you contributed to building resilience and a deeper connection among members of the Phoenixville Area Time Bank and our community.

As the year comes to a close, we traditionally ask you to consider supporting your Time Bank with a donation of your choice. This year we have an exciting opportunity to put your contribution to work  immediately on a very tangible project — our new headquarters.

And you can double your donation this year just by participating in a matching grant opportunity for which we have applied to a prestigious, local foundation. Just make your gift of $10, $25, $50, $100 or more and enjoy knowing that you will be unlocking twice the amount you give!

Our new headquarters in The Bookworm Project at 822 Main Street in Phoenixville will enable us to support more people and non-profit partners in our community. This is a fabulous opportunity to establish a new home in the community starting in January 2020.

But, while the office and meeting space at The Bookworm Project are essentially free to us ($1 per year plus utilities), the Time Bank must pay for the renovation of our office and its  furnishings.

So we appeal to you now to make as generous a contribution as you can to unlock the door to our new digs. You can make your gift online using a credit card. Or send a check payable to PATB to PO Box 964, Phoenixville, PA 19460.

Imagine a meeting and gathering space with parking! We will easily be able to host events and  meetings at this central location making Activity Group and Committee gatherings more accessible to all of our members.

Our new headquarters will also increase our Time Bank’s visibility and offer us more networking opportunities with other nonprofit organizations committed to improving our community as we are. Having an “official,” centrally-located headquarters will support the growth of our members and our Time Bank programs.

So please act now. The sooner we receive matching gifts from our members - from you - the sooner we can begin renovation.

Best wishes for a happy and safe Holiday Season,
